How do we explain who we are:

We are an Art Auction; Sort of!
We are a gallery; Sort of!
We clear house at the end of each month? Sort of!

We are 90% Silent Auction and 10% live.
We carry lots of Local and Regional artists.
We also show National and International artists.

Our Price ranges are as broad as the art we carry. There are price points and price levels for every collector from $50 to $20,000.

We show many varieties of art from paintings and sculpture to fashion and furniture. We like to keep our customers guessing as to what we will carry next!

Submitting is a two step process; we're under construction as we speak, so for now just submit an email to artbidz@gmail.com with an attached screen resolution image (file size should be a little under 1MB). Feel free to give us some information about yourself and we'll get back to you.

 

FAQ.

Question: Is this an online auction site?
Answer: No, the auction occurs downtown at 1830 Locust; however, you may purchase work online before the auction.

Question: What does 90% silent and 10% live mean?
Answer:This means that most of the auction will have a bid sheet on a table near each piece where art enthusiasts can put their pre-registered number to bid on any piece of the art. A pre-selected group of pieces will be part of the live auction starting around 8:15. 

Question: How do I submit art work?
Answer: While our site is under construction please submit images and descriptions to artbidz@gmail.com.

Question: Can we take home our artwork from the night of the auction?
Answer: Absolutely!! We will wrap your purchase and help you load it in your car. We can also give tips on how to display!!!
Special pick up scheduling available.

Question: What is the Payment Method?
Answer: Check, cash or credit card.

Question: How many artists will you show?
Answer: As many as we can!! We will have a different number of artists and works of art every month. We will keep you guessing!! Keep checking the site!!

Question: Is the work on consignment?
Answer: Yes all of our works of art are under contactual consignment sold on a commission basis.

Question: Is there auction protocol?
Answer: Yes but not very high society!!!We will provide auction protocol at the night of the auction.

Question: Is this just Kansas City art?
Answer: No, there is a nice mix of Kansas City and the rest of the world.

Question: Am I expected to buy something if I go to an art auction?
Answer: What kind of question is that?  You can at least try to buy something, place some bids, you might surprise yourself.
